Matt has always had an interest in light, as well as beautiful and unique homes. When he was younger, his mother would take him with her on weekends to visit open houses, we would spend hours walking through homes dreaming of what it must be like to live in them. Matt can’t say for sure where it came from, but beautiful and unique light has always intrigued me. Prior to 2013, he had only taken photos for fun, somewhat of a hobby, and it wasn’t until a good friend of his introduced him to the world of photography that his love of light met with a wonderful way to shape it and capture it.
In 2015, Matt decided to start his own real estate photography business. What better way to combine his love of homes and his love of photography? Ever since then, he's been consumed with learning various methods and techniques to produce the best possible images possible. It seems that every day he's learning something new and is convinced that will never end. It’s an extremely challenging genre but extremely rewarding as well. Finding ways of telling a home’s story through a lens is the most fulfilling career he can imagine, and can’t wait to see where it will take him next!
On top of being a professional real estate photographer, Matt helps give back to his community of Lake San Marcos by oftentimes being the "unofficial photographer" of many events, such as music festivals, holiday events, etc. Matt is great at what he does, is a pleasure to work wit,h and continues to improve on every home he photographs!
